Milford, CT (November 3, 2019) - Emergency crews quickly responded to a rollover crash in Milford on Sunday.

The accident occurred near Gulf Street and Cherry Street at around 9:00 in the morning. It began when an elderly driver had a medical episode and lost control of the car. The car swerved into an SUV, slammed into a Citizens Bank, and flipped on its roof. The SUV slid into some nearby bushes on impact. 

The driver of the car and their passenger, another senior citizen were trapped following the accident. Emergency crews had to slice open the car to get them out and to safety. Their injuries were serious, but specifics have not been released to the public. All that has been announced is that they are both now in stable conditions. 

The SUV was carrying two occupants and both people were also transported to the hospital. Their injuries were not fatal.
