Fairfield, CT – Woman Injured In Collision On Tunxis Hill Road

Fairfield, CT (August 2, 2019) – On July 31, at 9:40 p.m., Fairfield Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Tunxis Hill Road.

According to reports, multiple vehicles collided along the roadway, causing an extensive and prolonged closure to the roadway. Crews worked for over 45 minutes to tend to victims and clear the scene of the incident.

One woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
