Easton, CT (July 15, 2019) – On July 14, around 5:30 p.m., Easton Police and emergency crews reported to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Route 59.
Reports indicate that a two-car, head-on collision occurred Sunday evening. Numerous people sustained injuries in the collision. Individuals injured in this collision were transported to both St. Vincent's Medical Center and Bridgeport Hospital by crews from Easton, Shelton, Monroe, and various other towns in the area.
The male driver of one vehicle involved sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
At this time, the Southern Fairfield County Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
