Easton, CT – Andy Rivera Killed In Crash On Route 59

Easton, CT (July 17, 2019) – On July 16, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident along Route 59, near 757 Stepney Road.

Reports from the Easton Police Department indicate that around 5:30 p.m., 36-year-old Andy Rivera was traveling along the roadway when his vehicle collided with another for unknown reasons.

Rivera sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

Two female passengers in Rivera's vehicle, a 62-year-old and a 6-year-old, were both transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Three victims in the second vehicle, a 50-year-old female and two 17-year-old females, were both injured and transported to an area hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
