East Granby, CT - UPDATE-Man Dies From Crash At Rt. 20

East Granby, CT (August 18, 2019) - UPDATE - The Connecticut State Police reported that a serious crash which occurred on Friday and closed Route 20 ended with a fatality. A 34-year-old man, identified as Lynton St. Marie, of Simsbury, died as a result of the crash.

The incident occurred near Rainbow Road and School Street in East Granby. Lifestar was needed to transport the man to the hospital, who later passed away as a result of his injuries. 

The cause of the two-car accident has not yet been released, and it is believed that it is still under investigation. The police are asking the public with any information to come forward and contact Troop H. Barracks at 860-534-1000.
