Derby, CT – Multi-Vehicle Crash On Route 8 Results In Injuries

Derby, CT (July 3, 2019) – During the early morning hours of July 3, Derby police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Route 8.

According to reports, several vehicles collided along the roadway for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles involved in the collision rolled over, causing one occupant to be ejected. The second person inside the vehicle was trapped and had to be extricated.

Both victims injured in this collision were transported to an area trauma center in critical condition.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
