Derby, CT - Three-Car Crash Sends Multiple People To The Hospital On Route 8

Derby, CT (July 21, 2019)According to a post on Facebook Sunday morning by Storm Engine Co./Ambulance Corps Co. 2, an accident occurred on Saturday night sending a few people to the hospital for treatment of injuries. The crash occurred between three cars on Route 8.

By the time emergency crews and the police arrived at the scene of the accident, all parties were outside of their vehicles. One car was upside down and the other car destroyed. The extent of the injuries that resulted from the crash was not reported. Three or four people sent to the hospital for treatment.

The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
