Darien, CT – 14-year-old Hit and Run

Darien, CT (July 13, 2019) – On July 13, Darien police sent out a request for help from the public regarding a driver who hit a 14-year-old and fled the scene.

This past Thursday, a 14-year-old was struck by a vehicle while riding a bike on the intersection of Old Kings Highway and Locust Hill Road. The driver of the vehicle sped off after the accident and police have been searching for the driver ever since. 

After being examined by medical professionals, the 14-year-old ended up with cuts and a broken bone. 

Recent updates by police stated that the vehicle who hit the 14-year-old was a dark sedan or hatchback. Other reports say the car could be a BMW.
