Connecticut Serious Motorcycle Accidents

Canterbury, CT - Motorcycle Accident on Rt. 14 Has Serious Injuries

Motorcycles have devastating results when they are involved in accidents because they do not offer the added protection to the driver that closed vehicles have. Their design also makes them much less visible to other drivers on the road, and these vehicles are more vulnerable to the risks of weather and other road hazards than that of cars or trucks. There were over 5,000 motorcycle fatalities in the United States in 2016. In 2016, motorcyclists were 28 more times likely than those in passenger cars to suffer the loss of life in crashes.
