Brookfield, CT – Driver Killed In Crash On Candlewood Lake Road

Brookfield, CT (June 10, 2019) – On Saturday, June 8, Brookfield Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident around 10:45 p.m.

According to reports, an unidentified male was traveling along Candlewood Lake Road, near the entrance to Candlewood Birches, when he lost control of his vehicle. He struck a utility pole the struck another vehicle along the roadway.

The driver was transported to Danbury Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The incident remains under investigation at this time by the Brookfield Accident Investigation team.
