Bridgeport, CT – Two Car Collision On Main Street Sends Two To Hospital

Bridgeport, CT (August 14, 2019) – At approximately 12:20 p.m. on August 13, the Bridgeport Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

According to reports, a maroon sedan T-boned a silver sedan at the intersection of Main Street and Vanguard Street for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles.

Crews worked for over 15 minutes to extricate one of the victims from their vehicles.

Two individuals were injured in this accident and transported to area hospitals for treatment.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
