Bridgeport, CT (May 2, 2019) – On May 1, Bridgeport police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident on Article Street.
Police officials report that just before 2 p.m., a motorcycle and a car collided on Arctic Street. The incident occurred on the roadway, near the intersection with Brooks Street and Pembroke Street.
A car was turning into a driveway at the same time a motorcyclist struck a parked car. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and transported to Bridgeport Hospital for emergency surgery.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time. However, officers confirm that the driver of the car was issued an infraction for Failure to grant the right of way.
