Bridgeport, CT – Collision Involving GBT Bus Results In Injuries On Park Avenue

Bridgeport, CT (August 6, 2019) – On August 5, just after 4:45 p.m., police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Park Avenue.

According to reports, a Greater Bridgeport Transit bus was crossing through the intersection of Park Avenue and Maplewood Avenue when it was struck by a car at the corner.

Four people on the bus, including two children, were injured in the collision.

Police confirmed that the driver of the car fled from the scene of the incident without stopping.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
