Bridgeport, CT - UPDATE- Child Suffers Injuries After Accident At Island Brook Ave. & Chase St.

Bridgeport, CT (August 4, 2019)According to the police, a child has been confirmed to have suffered minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle in the city on Friday.

The accident occurred around 3:22 p.m., according to police spokesman Terron Jones, at the intersection of Island Brook Avenue and Chase Street.

The child was taken to the hospital for evaluation, and the driver of the vehicle was cooperative and remained on the scene to discuss the incident with the authorities.

The incident remains under investigation.
