Bridgeport, CT (July 28, 2019) - Sources have reported that at least two people have been injured as a result of a collision. The accident transpired at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Garfield Avenue on Saturday, around 6:20 p.m.
There was a motorcycle involved in the accident. The Fire Department and the police were on the scene to help the injured parties. Good Samaritans reportedly helped remove the driver of the motorcycle from beneath a vehicle in which he was stuck.
Additionally, there was a pedestrian hit as a result of the collision. Two ambulances were called and showed up to the scene of the accident.
The injured parties were taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center, where they received treatment.
The police closed Madison Avenue down to investigate the crash before 7:00 p.m. The accident investigation team was not requested, and the cause of the accident has not yet been released.
