Branford, CT – Fire On Leetes Island Road Results In Fatal Injuries

Branford, CT (July 25, 2019) – On July 24, around 4:00 p.m., Branford firefighters and emergency crews responded to the scene of a fire incident on Leetes Island Road.

According to reports, neighbors noticed flames shooting out of one of the trailers located in the area. Neighbors were taken aback as they called for help.

Crews arrived at the scene of the incident to fight the fire. After extinguishing the blaze, crews located a deceased victim inside the back of the trailer.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
