Berlin, CT (July 1, 2019) – On June 28, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Worthington Ridge and Frontage Road.

According to reports, a man on a scooter collided with a car along the roadway.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officials.

The man on the scooter sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
