Shelton, CT (August 10, 2019) - According to authorities, there was a fatal accident along Route 8 on Friday night. A car swerved off the roadway and crashed into an embankment then struck a tree. The driver and two passengers in the car were all taken to the hospital.

Markas Campo, the driver, sustained life-threatening injuries. One of the passengers, Quinten Jones, had non-life-threatening injuries and the other passenger, Jarvis Jones, was ejected from the vehicle. Jarvis was pronounced dead at St. Vincent's Medical Center.

The investigation into the cause of the accident is still underway.
