Hartford, CT- Child Struck by Motor Vehicle at 18 Whitmore Street

In 2018, 165 pedestrians were struck by motor vehicles while 92 bicyclists were also hit by motor vehicles that year.  Out of all these accidents, four resulted in death. Distracted driving, reckless driving, and unsafe driving practices are some of the means by which drivers hit defenseless pedestrians.  It is always traumatic when in an accident, but especially when one is hit without any significant defenses surrounding them the resulting injuries and trauma can be much more severe.
