Franklin, CT – Route 32 Collision Between A Truck And Van Results In Fatality

Franklin, CT (June 28, 2019) – At approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 27, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 32 near Thompson Road.

According to reports, a logging truck and a van collided along the roadway for unknown reasons. The impact of the collisions caused one of the vehicles involved to roll over.

One person involved in the collision sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

At this time, the Connecticut State Police are investigating the crash to determine the cause.
