A West Haven High School graduate died on Monday, September 23 after his car crashed into a utility pole, police said.

18-year old A.J. Cedillo died at Yale-New Haven Hospital due to serious, life-threatening injuries he sustained in the crash. His passengers, three teenage girls, are alive but were also severely injured. One has been already released, while the other two “have a long road to recovery,” according to the police.

The accident occurred along westbound Indian River Road on the afternoon of Friday, September 20 around 4 p.m. Cedillo lost control of his black Subaru sedan and swerved off the road.

According to witnesses, they heard a loud screeching, then a large bang around a corner of 85 Indian Road.

The primary cause of the accident is still under investigation by the authorities.

The following case is successfully handled in Connecticut courts by Attorney Levin.
